  I know a man who was dating while his wife was in Chemotherapy. I thought she was dead, but nope; she was just sick. Men will move on pretty quick. But you see how men got up in arms when they thought Venessa Bryant was dating another man last year, even though Kobe has been dead for 5 years. Let me add that women also don't remarry because they have been through marriage and didn't see any benefits of it. Men know the benefits of marriage; that's why they can remarry so fast.

  They panic because that woman was literally the reason why they're still alive. The amount of dependence on their wife is in direct correlation with how fast they remarry after she passes.

  I know someone who remarried 4 months after their wife passed. Apparently this was ok because it was unrealistic to expect him to be a single father. The poor kids lost their mom and were forced to accept a stranger, all in the same calendar year.

  When my youngest aunt on my father's side died 12 years ago my uncle showed up at her funeral with her so called friend two months later they got married his children wanted nothing to do with them after that and he wondered why we cut him off.

  As a man, I find requiring another partner in your home ASAP after becoming a widower repugnant.  It means you can't adult, and that's embarrassing.

  I have noticed that men move on quickly because they want a personal chef and someone to keep their bed warm at night.  I new this guy whose wife died of cancer.  He remarried 4 months later, his words were he misses a cooked dinner when he gets home from work and someone to share the bed with.  Wow so he did not miss his wife personality traits.
