  Something I experience in this game with parrying etc and other fighting games (like using drive impacts in SF6) is that when you play a new character or one you aren’t super familiar with, you’ll feel like something is really off. You’ll miss parries, maybe panic dodge attack etc. <br><br>This is because of mental stack. You’re thinking too much about all your offensive and defensive options because they aren’t natural yet so when you combine this with the ever present mental stack of your opponents offence, you’ll feel more stressed and make more mistakes, react slower and generally play much worse. <br><br>This is totally natural and you have to expect it and forgive yourself for it so you don’t get tilted. More of a mindset tip than anything but something to remember.

  I admit It when i Panik I spam Dodge atacks, and It works 50/50. But my problem in the game is I dont know to do light parry

  For me some of the biggest things I learned especially with the Risk vs Reward section is you CAN - not always - get away with throwing a random ass attack that you havnt used much of or flatout know they wont expect it. My current matchmaking has me with people that just stare at you and 9 times out of 10 theyre fishing for a light. So i just chuck a raw heavy from neutral and a good 70% of the time (For me this wont be accurate for everyone) it hits. I do this with kenseis UB heavy cause a lot of people expect you to feint it and panic when you just let it rip and it chunks them. Plus if they parry it some heros only really get a light off so id rather eat 9 dmg than 20+. &nbsp; Sadly my lobbies are COOKED. been really hard to learn when I get Mr Button Masher and then I have to play Hyper defensive cause theyre just buttons buttons buttons. this video is VERY helpful for me cause I fall straight into Tunneling Defense with these people,

  I would add; Rematch good opponents in duel or you will not get better. A sample size of bo5 is also too small. I have lost 3-0 just to rematch and win 3-0 (same characters) because I adapted, and vice versa.<br><br>Edit: naah I spoke too soon. Its the bonus tip 💀
