Wish you touched on the intangibility and how his board was able to just adsorb that missile

How can he be stronger than Galactus when he's the one who gave him his abilities? He's tried to rebel a few times and each time he was put back in his place. He was given a very small portion of his power, enough to deal with most threats.

My take on Galactus, is, I guess, very different than most. Maybe some would consider it inhuman. But he is literally a force of nature and a necessity for the universe. There is no moral component to what he does, literally zero. Nothing about him makes any connection to that invention by biological beings who created this notion due to the fact that evolution gave them pain and pleasure, and it eventually evolved into what we would call ethics.

I don't actually think that it would be as difficult as is proposed for Galactus to find a herald who can do the job necessary. Once someone understands his function in the universe as Galactus, it wouldn't really be as difficult as one might think to understand how to enable that function, perhaps even guide it in some way based on reason and find the kinds of ‘food’, so to speak, necessary while still maintaining a sentient balance depending on what each planet had to offer or not.

The morality play in all of this really overcomplicates things in a way that is completely unnecessary. And I'm not coming at this from somebody who has psychopathy or a view of things that are completely devoid of ethical thinking. But there are much bigger picture ways to understand how something like Galactus exists and what his function is.

Even Ghost Rider, in his attempts to make Galactus look at all of the pain and horror that everyone else thinks that he has caused, was faced with someone who felt nothing at the effect, at the effort. The Watcher had to explain to him what Galactus was in an effort to try to get him to understand that trying to get him to feel the pain of all of those deaths, etc., was functionally meaningless. I don't know. Humans are weird with their views on morality. It all seems very limited.

The Silver Surfer is basically Marvel’s version of Captain Adam.

Turning shalla bal into a silver surfer hurt the movie tremendously even if she did appear in comics

I think all of Galactus's heralds have the same potential. For instance Firelord at full potential could be very much like Firestorm from Dc comics.
