This story is straight from the fanfic entitled Aemon the Conqueror: The Rise of the Dragonknight by alperez. It's readable on archive of our own(A03).

To the one who posted this, I urge you to give the original author his proper dues. At the very least mention that this is just "heavily based on the works of ____". Not doing so leads people to believe you wrote this story. I believe you a capable writer, but don't plagiarize.

Whenever it came from. This is an amazing What-if in its scope. Aegon the Conqueror had spent his time building his empire in Essos. Now it is years later and the time of Aemon Targaryen the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, he loves his sister Rhaenys and looks to build his own empire in Westeros. In Westeros there are Seven Kingdoms. StormsEnd ruled by often drunk King Robert Baratheon who hates the Targaryens because of his lost love Lyanna. Stannis is his long suffering Hand. The Reach is ruled by House Gardiner with the Tullys as their stewards. Brandon Stark rules the North with Barbrey Rhyswell as his queen. This is supreme world building.

Since you’re taking most stories from ao3 do the dragons roar by priestess of groove
, different song same singer by Alperez or the dark prince and golden lioness by Alperez. Those are completed
