it is fun in few bursts here and there but lacks that staying power, aka personality.

One of the main issues is that all the maps feel very similar. There's not much variety with the maps in regards to the lighting, color scheme, and overall season of the map. We need some maps that look war torn like Devastation from BFV, we need some jungle maps, we need some snow maps, we need some night time maps or dynamic weather/night&day cycle, give us levelution. Even the guns look similar. Give us the XM8, give us the F2000, give us the FAMAS, give us an old school looking AK47 with the wood finish, give us the gol sniper magnum, give us take down animations like the ones in BFV and BF1. The game lacks variety in guns, maps and overall gameplay mechanics.

Going from Bf3/4/1 to 6 really shows the difference in direction of how the game is played from pacing to gunplay, to animations and physics, and even graphics.
The experience lost from the old developers that left is felt in the core of the gameplay. Such a thing is not fixable in my opinion. Battlefield 6 is by no means a terrible game, but I don't think its a home for people that have enjoyed titles prior to 2042.

For me the ttk and movement is still an issue. Id rather it be at par with bf4 because it still feels like infantry on infantry is too quick

One thing I can say about the movement as a person slowly but surely reaching the "battledad" status is that it's not fast on its own. It could be faster. There are other much bigger problems with it.

There is no sense of weight, momentum and acceleration in this game. Everything happens instantly - change of strafing directions, climbing, sprinting, etc. It's extremely difficult to counter not because of the speed of the actual movement but because there's no way to tell what's going on in time.

There are also no penalties for shooting mid-air and no proper hit flinch in BF6, so it doesn't feel like playing against a soldier but against a terminator chaining insane movements and ignoring physics while doing so. BF3 perfected this over a decade ago.

I like the game but in small bursts. BF4's gunplay is what had me playing constantly. It wasn't just the difference between weapon classes it was inside the classes themselves. Example, the AK-5C felt wildly different to the ACR. Also, not having weapon locked classes is a mistake.

They need to add BF3/4's suppression back. You should be able to suppress a sniper and allow your team to push or retreat. You should be flinching and having trouble with accuracy if you're getting shot at. I should have to retreat and rethink my strategy if someone gets the drop on me. I shouldn't be allowed to get shot at, and then just turn and eliminate them faster than they can land a hit. The lack of suppression is what makes this feel so much like CoD. This would also encourage players to slow down and think. It would probably even solve the whole "BF6 is too fast" problem.

And this is just a me thing but Battlefield having MW19-style reloads and a really bare-bones bobbing animation is disgusting. BF3/4 bobbing and reload animations were distinct and seeing them told you that it's a Battlefield game (Or Medal of Honor if you've played those games).

I play almost every day couple hours, the recent maps Golmud/Tsuru are awesome and finally giving me the real BF vibes.
Overall i enjoy the game as it is, off course there are problems but mostly it's OK

I love the game, I been playing battlefield since bf3 and I’ve always like this franchise more than COD. Bf6 is my second favorite battlefield only behind 3. I know it’s not exactly like older battlefield games but I like that. I was stuck playing battlefield 4 when I wanted that modern setting for so long. This is my breath of fresh air in gaming. I know it’s not perfect but no game is. I also don’t expect them to make everyone happy. I don’t want them to make the mistake most game developers make by trying to please everyone, because then no one will be happy with it. I like that it’s pretty grounded visually, the movement isn’t over the top, and the destruction is great. I love redsec I played Fortnite in its first season and warzone when it first dropped. For me redsec wipes them, I love the upgrade system with the kits, the destruction, the missions, I just wish it had permanent solo and duos. I get it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it sure is mine!

I reinstalled for the first time in six months to try out the new map, and it's pretty good. Still not enough for me to keep playing.

Made my peace with the game. I love Tsuru reef and it’s got me playing a lot. The boats being a piece of paper is annoying tho, lb shreds it in one good pass
