  My problem with the team at this time. &nbsp;I want them to win NOT by being the team that just makes the least mistakes BUT because theyre able to take over a game and overwhelm teams.<br><br>AJ and Onwenu hurt is BIG. <br><br>Win is a win

  Josh McDaniels has done a poor job. Unlike most teams who throw several passes to their running backs as check downs or screens or wheel routes, McDaniels rarely does this. Today there were only 2 passes to running backs. No screena or wheel routes, which have done well when called sporadically last year. No jet sweep. No up tempo or no huddle to put pressure on the defense. Josh has been unimaginative and vanilla. Just not good enough.

  On avg teams pass to their running backs 7 times per game. Rogers had 10 to RBs today, usually check downs as pressure comes, often as screens and sometimes wheel routes. Maye threw to RBs twice today. It&apos;s just not smart play calling, let the RB leak out after blocking. This is common sense.

  Come on Troy. Fred is 100% right. The offense in a big picture view looks awful. He isn’t overreacting. It’s been the truth for the past several games including postseason. I agree, a win is a win but expectations are the Super Bowl. And there is nothing showing that we have progressed much past the ceiling we had last year. I’m optimistic they flip the switch, but arguing against just raw truth is ridiculous

  Can we get actual, correct stats please. Heard Fred say aside from long runs by Hendy &amp; Mondre all runs were less than 2 yds. WRONG! I counted 10 runs of 4+ yds from RBs. Perhaps you meant avg but Hendy was 2.5 and Mondre was 3.8 without big runs. I hate McDaniels and think heat should be on his terrible playcalling but RBs were better this week. Largely because less 1st down gut runs.

  Does anyone remember what Vrabel said about Ramandre fumbling last season? … all white jerseys around him. Ball security is a team responsibility.

  You&apos;re seeing sloppy inconsistent football across the league because starters don&apos;t play in the reduced 3 preseason games anymore. It&apos;ll be a few weeks before good teams begin to play to their potential consistently.

  Might be an early hot take but I think we’ve seen the best of Drake Maye. I don’t think he can get better and it might be time to think about the next 3 years and if he fits that plan. Defense won this game so still good to take a win.
