This is not the usual cheating husband story, but the story of a smart woman who faces reality and responds instantly. The husband takes everything for granted: his marriage, his career, his ability to use people to his own advantage. The FL was wise enough to not confront him and simply let the law do its work. We never hear about the mistress, other than her name and her part in the crimes. It would have been much more satisfying to hear that she had been arrested and imprisoned, just like the scumbag husband.

Shit! The husband needed a wife to be his sexual outlet; the husband needed a wife to be his housecleaner/maid, cook, errand boy, landscaper (if they have a yard), nurse, and assistant. What he didn't need the wife for is love, companionship or emotional connection. He's a user!<br><br>The wife projected her values, her needs and wants onto him without stepping back and really looking at the relationship. Sad!

So, her married her just to have a housekeeper. What a cold, selfish bastard. He grossly underestimated his wife and took her for granted because he thought she was too naive and too stupid to find out. This husband's behavior is conduct unbecoming of a military officer. His wife kept her composure and did all the right things to bring him down. Revenge is a dish best served cold. But why wasn't the mistress charged for their crimes?
