  I can tell this man reads a LOT.  Why?  Because he mispronounces unusual words and names, those you don't encounter in every day speech (eg Constantinople).  Basically it means he didn't have someone lecture him so he can pick up the pronunciation, but he learned it by reading so the pronunciation isn't obvious.  This isn't to criticise, and I think it's the mark of someone who loves learning.

  Sir, I am a smart guy that grew up really poor and college was never an option. Your classes have meant a whole lot to me and you are a really great teacher. <br><br>From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for sharing. American schools do not elaborate. We are taught a bare minimum that&apos;s majority propaganda. Your videos are a breath of fresh air. Kudos

  This was very good lecture about ancient Byzantine Empire: 10/10!<br>I wish my teachers would have been as good as this Professor Jiang Xueqin.<br>I think Christian theology has simplified the intellectual process of our thinking way too much narrowing our concepts of ourselves and the Universe &nbsp;we are part of. <br>I feel like Christian theology has made my opinions over-simplified and ignorant and my cognitive intelligence capacity has been drastically reduced.<br>Now I am climbing my way out of the cave into the sunlight. <br>These videos help me immensely to enhance my perception of this world by increasing and activating my neurosynapsis in form of neogenesis.

  This is awesome, the professor is actually showing the neighborhood I grew up (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abs6z7VPEMc&amp;t=708">11:48</a>). Another fun fact: Those defensive walls were inlaid with special earthen bricks so the walls could absorb shocks from earthquakes, and the horizontal lines (same red bricks) were laid at irregular height intervals to confuse the enemy&apos;s calculations.
