Man, thanks for shining a light on this series. It feels like an exclusive club to have played these gems growing up.

Thank you for this, this is the most in-depth video about this game I've come across, I've loved this game and series for over 20 years and it deserves a lot more attention than it gets

I love channels that go out of their way to learn about these games. You. Marsh. Dungeon chill. Are always ordering books and other merch for these games just to learn more about them and not regurgitating qhats already been said. I look forward to watching you grow as a content creator and watching the channel grow. You earned my sub.

i remember wos 1 and 2 as some of the first games that i played that had '' player agency '' and allowed the player to actually play the game. the combat was perfect witha great risk rewards system and stances and combos and parrying and unique swords with uniques qualities which all required going through a satisfying learning curve.. the scale of the fights was small, you werent fighting some big demon to save the world or some general conquering kingdoms you were just a wandering vaganbond trying to find his way in life, leaving your little mark on your path depending on your whims, interests or conscious and trying to survive in the countryside and not to die in some dark alley where no one will remember you. it was immersive. and what made it that way its was the choices you had, the map was small but very deep full of details and feels alive, the opposite of modern openworlds, you can help or rob or kill anyone, minor or major npcs, at any time in the game and it will change something in the map and plot, npc had unique behavior , and whether you fight or ally with certain faction it will change your campaign. the combat was surprisingly deep and fun for a sandbox, it required understanding stances and their unique advantages and combos, understanding range and timing and parrying, you cant just mash your way to victoy even on easier difficulties, as you learn the game your avatar starts to feel like a master without being too overpowered. even the music and visuals were good it had that semi anime artstyle iconic of the era. as for the negative my only gripe is that the games werent long enough but i know the quality of a little gem like this cant be realistically done on a large scale. a hidden gem that lack of popularity because its still a niche genre that didnt go mainstream but i like that because now we dont have weird clones or bad modern adaptations and cashgrabs that taints the serie. great video btw.

What an amazing game. One of the first I had on PS2, became a big fan of the series since and while each game has been good I don't think they ever quite recaptured the lightning a second time around. The music, characters, world & story are all fantastic despite the game loop being so short. So glad to see people still talking about this game.

Thank you for putting so much work into this and the second one. I bought this solely off of some ad on PSM magazine high on Samurai X and that summer is one Ill never forget. One of my favorite games of all time and its just lovely to hear somebody talk about it in-depth. Thank you for all the work that went into this.

Just the other day I stumbled upon your Wrath of Heaven video. Today you have blessed me. The one franchise from my childhood that I'd give anything to see a modern resurgence.

I just love it finding a video on something super niche out here. I played the 4th one on PS3 and it was so beautifully underrated and niche. Im invested in your channel now!

I stumbled on this game back in the day out of pure luck. I was fresh out of high school and this game consumed a solid month or two of my time, I played through it time and time again, learning the paths the characters took and trying to 'solve' the game
