Within days, he met Suwanna in a Phuket gentlemen’s club, became emotionally attached and started treating their holiday romance like a serious relationship. He paid for her to miss work, stayed at her condominium and even discussed a future together. However, things became more worrying when she photographed his passport, talked about becoming pregnant and later claimed that a childhood friend had stolen 400,000 Thai baht from her.
