Nothing about this woman is senile. I see a person with enough time to REALLY THINK. she's brilliant. I'm in awe

I was raped and I decided that it happened but I would go on with my life. I learned to not trust men I did not know and try to be more cautious. The man overpowered me, nothing I could do and I did not report it (did not tell anyone) because I did not know how to at that time. I have had a life that was great and did not let it ruin my life. I agree with Germaine completely.

A real thinker in action, no cult , no smoke and mirrors, no hype; what a brain.

Pleasantly surprised to see that the interviewer asks clear questions and then lets the interviewee finish her answers.

Amazing to think how her views used to offend the most conservative among us, and now they offend the most progressive.

I totally agree with Germaine in saying that rape doesn't and shouldn't destroy us. I've been both raped and a victim of child sexual assault. Now of course both were bad experiences but they haven't weakened my resolve to be a successful person in all walks of life. Really the biggest take away for me from the CSA was I was very over protective of my daughter while she was a child.

Have to say, I disagree with the no criminal charges for rape. Rape is a violent act. Rapists tend to escalate. They should absolutely be criminally prosecuted. But, she is correct, the victims are further victimized by the process.

Germaine speaks more sense on womens issues than anyone else I've ever heard. Love her honesty.

After a lifetime of depression and feeling like I’ve never met another person who thinks like me, I found Germaine Greer. She is a gift. We need more people like her. She helps explain this insane world.

In a BBC interview (whose comment section is closed), the interviewer asked Greer if she considered a trans woman a woman. She said no. The interviewer said that the trans woman would be very insulted to hear that. She said: "I don't care, people get insulted all the time."<br><br>We need to bring this attitude back. We don't have to be dicks to others for no reason. But we must also acknowledge that courtesy is voluntary, not mandatory. If I insulted you, ask me to apologize. If I refuse to apologize--well, that's that and there is nothing you can do.

I`m 62. I`ve lived through failing to be an architect because men told us girls couldnt. Ive survived my mum being allowed to die young for no other reason than she was a lower class woman. Germaine Greer has helped me navigate this unfair, unfree world in which women are now being told we are no longer women, because men can also BE women. People need to listen a hellovalot more and Germaine speaks way more sense than most. I love this woman
