  The thing I learned way back when I was in school for luthiery is that the best luthier is not the one who does not make mistakes, but the one who is best at hiding their mistakes to make it look like they never happened. Same thing applies to most professions in my experience.

  I found a Gretsch "New Yorker" archtop in a garbage pail on Long Island neck was sticking out around 2014,LOL! gave it to a co-worker & he went over the whole guitar played great.He offered it back to me but told him I gave it to you as a gift.....

  Love this axe, here in the UK they were bought by the guys in the beat groups in the 60s. By the 1970s they were seen in the junk shops and were a cheap great sounding guitar, so they fuelled the pub rock / punk boom

  Taking the truss rod cover down to the beach so it could see the sea, was likely the kindest thing to do really.

  I so admire your work and approach. I&apos;ve been a polisher and restorer for 40 &nbsp;years and learned by mistakes ! I love Buggy too, if only he could talk human 😂❤
