So I woke up to find tons of comments (and some conspiracy theories?) about not mentioning the John Cena bit. I thought it was fine, just not one of my favorite bits of the night. I actually did record something about it but I was so "eh" on it that I didn't even think it was interesting enough to include. I'm glad lots of you enjoyed it, just wasn't my cup of tea. But yes, I did, in fact, see John Cena.

The “I’m Just Ken” performance was a true masterpiece! <br><br>(Very Tony Awards to me which, in my opinion, is the best awards show of them all)

After Jimmy closed out the show, all i was thinking was "Hold on?! The Best Picture Winner starred Matt Damon in a Major Supporting Role, and Kimmel isn't doing anything??? what is going on??" Then we cut to Messi and it brought peace to the world.

I actually love the fact they brought all the past winners to present. It added a peer to peer respect, as well as had a few surprises of past winners that we may have forgotten about

As a lifelong Godzilla fan I was really happy to see it win. Hearing the Godzilla march play while they were walking up made me choke up a bit and you could tell they were all really thrilled!

The Downey joke would’ve been good if it’d just been that first line but then he just KEPT GOING. He went way too hard for absolutely no reason.

Oppenheimer’s win for Best Cinematography was also a big win for IMAX as it became the first film that utilized IMAX film cameras to win that award (and was only the third film ever that used IMAX film cameras to be nominated for the award following The Dark Knight and Dunkirk).

I'm thrilled for Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey, Jr. They were both incredible in Oppenheimer, and their careers have been consistently great.

I love Lily Gladstone but I think she was nominated in the wrong category. She would've won Supporting Actress easily. Emma Stones in Poor Things was unbeatable.

Nolan won exactly 30 years after steven spielberg won his first oscar, schindler's list, so it was great to have steven spielberg be the one to give the award to Nolan.

Jimmy kimmels funniest joke of the night, was right after Emma won, and he said “make sure you tear that envelope up”

I am Japanese 日本人です <br>We celebrate 2 wins for the first time in 15 years (since "Departures" and "The House of Small Cubes" in 2008) <br>Most of you must be wondering why "Godzilla Minus One" was not the Japanese submition of International film. <br>"Godzilla Minus One" was not that successful in Japan for a Godzilla film, and director Takashi Yamazaki is like Japanese Michael Bay, who started his career as a VFX guy. On the other hand, everyone thought famous Wim Wender's film was more Oscar-like especially after it won Cannes for the best actor. <br>This is why it was a huge surprise that "Godzilla Minus One" was very successful both commercially and critically overseas. <br>At Japanese Academy awards of the last week, which nobody even in Japan cares, "Godzilla" sweeped 8 categories including the best picture, while "Perfect Days" got 2 wins for the best director and best actor. <br>But it was of course too late for the Oscar international film. <br>In Japan, every one predicted "Godzilla" and "The Boy and the Heron" win <br>Producer Toshio Suzuki just revealed at a press conference that even though Hayao Miyazaki was pretending he did not care about the awards, he was waiting at his atelier the good news, Ghibli staff was watching the show and started to clap as soon as they heard the "The" of "The Boy and the Heron", And Suzuki ordered 3 Oscar statue for himself, Miyazaki, and to show off. <br> <br>Also, everyone, do not forget that today is March 11th, 13 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
