“Good evening, mother.” with that robot-calm voice and perfect posture gave me chills. “Perfect manners” as a red flag was brilliant foreshadowing—and when the basement door opened to the tally marks and a timer frozen at 10,000? Absolutely horrifying. Props to mom for turning panic into a 72-hour plan instead of a meltdown.

Yeah OP's mom is beyond sadistic, deranged, and delusional. I hope things ended well for Marcus, however, I think it might aid in his case if they are able to legally prove it in court that their mom abused, tortured, and brainwashed Emma. She'd hopefully spend the rest of her life in jail for it along with the abuse and conditioning of other children including OP.

The first move you make is too the emergency room, to have everything documented. They will make the call to CPS. And the questioning begins. That way, once the police finds the cellar, everything <b>can</b> be used in court against granny dearest.
