  One of the few times I though he wouldn't compare it to a nuclear power plant, but then their nuclear powerplant was a bit different to his, so he could still compare it to his nuclear powerplant...

  To me, it makes complete sense that they would make accommodations for a visit like this. With so much speculation about increased power demands resulting from expanded uses of technologies such as AI and EV charging... I think public awareness of nuclear energy is more important than ever before. We should be welcoming and respecting it; not fearing it.

  I feel like the reason why certain individuals such as Kyle Hill and SmarterEveryday were authorized to share those videos is to help de-stigmatize the nuclear industry. So many people are primed to think disasters, weapons, and dangers when they think of nuclear stuff. Way too much propaganda against and as well lack of knowledge. Plus, let&apos;s be honest. Most people never get/desire to change patterns that a) they don&apos;t recognize and b) never really think about.<br><br>That&apos;s the great thing about Kyle and Destin! They have a passion, are intelligent, and have the ability to explain/present it in a way that more people can understand. They&apos;ve definitely helped me understand more of the nuclear industry. Honestly wish I had an opportunity to be one of those rare outsiders to be permitted in there. Alas, I am largely not the type of person that would be in a power-plant as my brain leans way more to the life science side

  i thought tyler was exaggerating a bit for comedic effect when he’d always say things like “nuclear engineering is 50% briefings and 30% getting your work double checked” but this video makes me think he mightve been under-exaggerating 😂

  I think Destin was one of the only YouTubers who could have pulled this off. He&apos;s accomplished so much and shown that he is honest and trustworthy. He&apos;s gotten access to everything from rocket assembly plants, to a US Navy Nuclear submarine. And his videos &nbsp;are dedicated to knowledge and learning in a fair and unbiased way. I&apos;m hoping someday that he eventually gets to go to the ISS.
