  When people say they wanted Final Fantasy to go Turn-Based again, they mean a game with the full production value like FF15/16. Don&apos;t throw Octopath / Bravely Default / Dragon Quest at them, and say it&apos;s the same thing. It&apos;s not that people pretend they don&apos;t see them - it&apos;s that they&apos;re just not interested. There&apos;s a reason this weak gaslight doesn&apos;t work<br><br>UPDATE: The usual suspects are trying to pull this BS with Final Fantasy Resonance too.   The problem with that meme is I think they actually DO believe that what older FFs were, which means they fundamentally do not understand or appreciate what the older FFs are. I truly do believe these new people cannot see the difference. There is a stunning lack of nuance in fanbases.

  Ringo Starr once told the story that when they would play at stadiums, it would be so loud with screaming that he couldn’t even hear their own music playing so he only knew the timing by looking at the rest of the band tapping their feet. He’s an incredible drummer.
