I used to wander this world feeling so much hopelessness and shame. Something was missing. I began eating healthy, finding meds that helped my anxiety, and walking each day. And it helped—but something was still missing. For years, I had tried to fill this void that was buried within me with food, promiscuity, socialization—but Jesus waited for me, knowing my void was not due to any mental or physical ailment, but an ailment of my spirit.
Thank you for allowing me to see your light, Jesus.
I am finding peace and fulfillment.
If you are feeling like something is missing, keep seeking him. He is the answer.

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT JESUS WAS CARRYING ME THROUGH MY STORMS UNTIL I LOOKED BACK AND SAW ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS. I WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED IF NOT FOR HIS SOVEREIGN POWER IN MY LIFE. I AM COMFORTED, ENCOURAGED, SUSTAINED BY HIS ETERNAL PROMISES.
