I feel conflicted when I hear this song. Because when I was a teenager, the world was different, life was in part, still very enjoyable, work was enjoyable, property was affordable and attainable, and there were no smartphones. People I knew and loved were still alive. I'm grateful because I've made it thus far, but this song really hits hard.
