“Stop The Massacre” is such an ominous message in that mission, knowing, you just cant cause of the circumstance Yuri had just endured

If humans had a default skin we would look like Yuri.

"I was young, and patriotic, when I first met Vladimir Makarov."

"Zakhaev, never forgot what we did for him that day. Our reward was power. But power corrupts."

"Thousands of lives, extinguished, at the push of a button. This wasn't a war, it was madness."

"I was a soldier of Russia, not a taker of innocent lives. But in his eyes, in marked me as the enemy."

Introducing Yuri into the narrative was a brilliant move. I honestly thought he was just some random merc or jobber who joined the team but discovering that he was involved from the very beginning was mindblowing. One of my favorite parts of Modern Warfare was their willingness to kill off main characters and bring in new ones. Instead of just following one small group of heroes we get to see the conflict from all sorts of different perspectives and it gives the story some real dramatic weight.

If you shoot Yuri in the mission "one shot one kill" while hes in the car with Makarov in COD4 remastered you will fail because of friendly fire
