  More than 70 years of sci fi radio drama since this series was made, and l have yet, to date, not heard of any other sci fi drama to knock this off my number 1 spot for pure listening pleasure.

  One of my favorite shows when i was a kid in England. I think  that 2 writers alternated episodes, creating difficult clifhangers for the other writer to get out of.     C. Hull.

  I've heard this so many times and it must be one of if not the only one of a radio serial that does not at all get wearisome or a chore to listen to, an absolute joy to listen to. Lemmy is lovable but a pain in the arse to the others fill their roles perfectly. I remember David Jacobs as a great telly host of shows and as here a he was more of a radio guy on BBC Radio 2 DJ. I was born 1968 so this was before my time. I'm chuffed this has survived the passage of time as the Beeb had a habit of saving money and taping over shows which in hindsight is  sacrilegious and in rare instances have asked the public if they had taped show a, b, or c? Sadly funny but just think of the classics lost before VHS. Apologies for the long message oh I send this from Liverpool on 25\12\25, love to all whenever this is ready and come on you Blues, ha ha

  64 year-old American here who thoroughly enjoyed this! I must declare I that I put this on at bedtime and fell asleep for an episode or two resulting in some rather odd (though not scary) dreams! Thanks for this!

  One of the best things I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. I heard it as a child in the 90s, my step father gave it to me on cassettes. It's hauntingly beautiful.

  As life became to complex sometimes, I so enjoy listening only. Darken the room or eyes - speaker or headphones and listen to what I call the theater of the mind. It is a time of peace for me, even very old teck - interesting. I think there is a huge market for a great team of writers and voices - acting. So many are stressed, pressured, haunted - and so the theater in the ears is a giant natural pill/
