I called to find out the safety precautions during covid. I was told that I only needed to wear a mask. As I walked across the Casino floor I quickly learned they had lied to me. Everyone else was also wearing their clothes. How embarrissing.

 A hard 17 in blackjack is called a mother-in-law.

You want to hit it, but you can’t.

lol... Casinos are worried about being robbed while they are in the process of robbing everyone else. Priceless.

I went to Crown Casino in Melbourne Australia with 5000 in my pocket with the purpose of playing on the 100 minimum table. About 30 minutes later with stacks and stacks of chips I was invited to the Teak room which was more private and gave free drinks and food and had higher table limits. I couldn't do anything wrong...I didn't lose one single bet. The best one was when I put down a 4000 bet and got blackjack, I picked up my 6000 and went and cashed in my chips. I walked out of there with 33,600, a full stomach and a gut full of bourbon.
A very happy day for me!

"6 to 5 are bigger numbers than 3 to 2, so it sounds better"

If you're that clueless, you deserve to get ripped off.

I once had to have the casino review the camera because the dealer got my hand signal wrong. She was going way too fast and actually hit my hand with the card as I was waving it to stand. The card busted me, and I held my hand over the table, palm down, saying I was standing on that one. They called over the pit boss and the dealer admitted she may have mis--read the signal. So he reviewed it and paid me for the win.

Remember the movie casino when Robert Deniro caught the guy cheating, you can leave with the money or you can leave with your hands, but you can't leave with both

I was a dealer way back in 1978. I had drinks thrown in my face, I've been spit on, I had ashtrays thrown at me and all kinds of other crazy things happen.

Don't yell UNO every time you get a card. I learned my lesson.
