  Fun fact: If you don't choose a side in the war yet, you can randomly come across either a dark elf farmer on his way to join the Legion, or an Imperial farmer on his way to join the Stormcloaks.

  I love when people acknowledge that the biggest victims of the Thalmor are the Altmer themselves and many younger and less privileged Altmer would hate the Thalmor with an absolute seering rage that would make Pelinal Whitestrake blush. Psijics too, which are majority Altmer, are basically a persecuted religious minotity, and if someone is part of or is of a family with members in the Psijic Order, theyd side with the empire and do anything to basically eradicate the thalmor.

  Legate Fasendil is a perfect example of an Altmer hating the Thalmor. He saw the brutal acts of the Thalmor first hand. If he wasn&apos;t in the Legion he would most likely be part of an anti Thalmor group.

  what i find odd you always see argonians,dunmer,bretons and others walking to solitude saying they&apos;re on their way to join the empire while when you actually join the war it&apos;s only a bunch of nords and imperals

  As a note, the worship of Talos didn&apos;t start as an Imperial thing. In the book Varieties of Faith, first seen in Morrowind, the cult of Talos is described as a &quot;nordic hero cult&quot;. So it is more accurate to say that the worship of Talos is a nordic thing that was adopted in Cyrodiil.

  The section on Redguards is actually great backdrop and holds insight to &quot;In My Time of Need&quot;, basically its very likely that Saadia is lying and Kematu is right.<br><br>Also often time youll find a Redguard traveler on the roads and youll find they are on their way to join the Stormcloaks, never the Imperials.
