  "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap."  Dolly is a G,  and also one of the most humble and compassionate people ever.  And yes, she stayed with him until he passed just this year.  We need more Dollys in this world.

  They were married 59 years until he died this year. She wrote thousands  of songs including, I WILL ALWAYS  LOVE YOU, Which she recorded  first before Whitney ssangg it.

  Dolly was married to Carl Thomas Dean for 58 years. He died March of this year (2025).

  Dolly's husband  stayed home all those years while Dolly traveled and performed. He wanted no part of the celebrity public life.  Only one time he made a public appearance at an award show with Dolly and he hated it. So she agreed to never make him do any of that ever again. It was their thing that he would stay home and live a normal life while Dolly was free to go do what she loved. Dolly turns 80 next month and still looks gorgeous. Never stopped working except she took some time off to grieve but she has had some health problems after losing the love of her life. She is a magnificent human being.

  Her name wasn’t Jolene. Jolene was a little girl Dolly met after a concert in Vancouver. Dolly loved the name and asked permission to use her name in a song
