alright guys here's the scoop. I have a 2022, honda red. He is correct about understanding the limitations of this bike and what kind of situations it does well in. That being said I put a gold plug on it, and I have a big tool box I screwed into the threads on the back rack. That is literally all i've done and frankly that's all I plan on doing for a long time. That is because this bike is extremely capable and well built. I've never felt that the grips are uncomfortable, or that I couldn't see around my body with the stock mirrors, or that the seat is hard. I've ridden for hours at a time and I can put my whole hand on the stock heat sink, which gets warm, but never hot enough to actually burn you. In my experience, people still respect my space even though it is the color red. If you WANT to modify this bike then you absolutely should. Do you NEED to modify this bike to make it perfect? Absolutely not. Unless you are the pickiest person in the world, or you have a sponsor, then let this baby ride stock. Don't be fooled into thinking you need to modify the crap out of it. What you have in the stock version of this bike is incredible on it's own.

What a difference a year makes. Was looking at Groms but when I sat on one it just didn't work for me. Then I saw a new 2024 yellow Trail 125 and this was the small bike I was looking for. It was marked down to $3500. We talked less than 2 minutes when the dealership owner told me he'd let me have it for $3600 outt he door. Said he need that 2 year old bike gone. Gave it a test drive told him I'd pick it up Saturday and now it's sitting in my garage. These aren't selling like when you couldn't find one 2-3 years ago. That may change with the sharp rise in gas. Got heck of a deal.

I ride my Harley at 50 most of the time . I just move over and flag em around me . But I also ride with
a hog leg (.44) on my hip out where everyone can see it . Once in a while someone will flip me off or blow
their horn , I just wave at em . Great video . You have a blessed one .

Your review is Spot on ! I bought two New Pearl Organic Green CT125's in December 2023. I would hope people would do there research before flopping down $5k + for these little bikes. I did, and they are exactly as you describe. Tons of fun with limitations for sure. We Love ours. I haven't added any accessories yet, but your bike has a lot of what I want. Thanks for a great and truthful review !

I like the green color but the red and especially the yellow heighten visibility…an important aspect of staying alive on a motorcycle. This is especially true on a slow moving Honda trail.

2022 (red) took me 2 yrs to find one... i put on the front rack ( of course AFTER i crashed it trying to jump a curb scratched the headlight, front fender, handlebar end approx. $600 damage. - shipping ) to protect the bike. i added the same exact crash bars as shown here. total crap ( $35 ) added a LOT of weight and did nothing BUT added a place for my 4 speaker stereo system ( gohawk ) removed BOTH of them ( bars/stereo ) i also added chrome exhaust covers so it would look awesome. ( which it did and does BUT are already rusting after being just over 6 months old. ) i also changed the seat to a red one which i love also BUT seems to be wearing out. the chain is crap so is the sprocket so i hope to be able to change all that in the future... but realistically nothing is cheap to do these days and i am handicapped so there is very little i can do myself. ( one of the main reasons i chose a lightweight bike like this which i love ) i also changed the tires to knobby's and now it REALLY has handling and doesnt just slip right off the road in the tiniest patch of sand. i have bought also 2 different rear carriers and even tried a milk crate and was NOT happy with any of them... ( removed ) i do NOT recomment cutting the shifter... because i have the 22' they had not introduced the oil filter nor adjustable shocks YET. luckily the oil filter is a waste of $$$ ( so i avoided that ) i have the magnetic plug, a pair of nice shocks that are adjustable, and the extended rack ( which is not recommended IF you are tall because you could easily wheelie in to a flip. ) also the battery is complete crap so i have a featherweight lipo ( 24wh ) waiting to be installed. hopefully these experiences, observations, and tips might help someone. its a great bike and i love mine and it will only be taken from me by prying it from my cold dead hands. thanks for the video !
