iPad Pro M5 won’t boot under warranty, Apple rejected repair. Culprit is just a tiny capacitor.

Pretty sure that under apple rules, if a capacitor is damaged, they have to replace the whole board or give you a new ipad.

As an electrical engineer, I'm genuinely surprised that one of the world's largest companies can't seem to invest in some basic diagnostic tools. Great investigation, smart way of thinking and recognizing the problem, grats!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I am waiting so long for a macbook repair from Apple that I could have flown to China and brought it to you for repair.

My iphone 15 developed issues was denied repair under warranty. I wrote to all email IDs i could get for apple, including the highest executives and CEO, then i got a call they remotely diagnosed it and picked up my old phone and sent me a brand new one.

Apple should pay you double or triple of all your total earning and hire you as the Product Quality Director

This kind of conduct by corporations has become all to common place in the 21st century - make excuses, deny, obfuscate the facts and/or outright lie to the customer knowing the average end user doesn't have the financial ability for a legal battle to correct the mistake.

Love the high quality of the video and audio - even the music is minimalist and non-intrusive. Also love the tools, experience and skill with such work - the steadiness of the hands under the microscope, the care taken in each step was both clear and enviable. Thank you for offering a relatively balanced view of the situation too, with the explanation of the context at the end - although I would still argue that this should not have been denied a warranty claim based on what we see here. Keep up the great work director!
