It should be law that anyone who kills a child should get the death penalty!!!

I bet these men killed others too. It infuriates me that they went on to have 30 years of freedom after their disgusting actions. Absolute evil. My heart goes out to the families of these two beautiful angels. ❤

I don't know which is more terrifying that it wasn't a serial killer but actually 2 different men hunting girls in Tacoma.

That whole wait 24hrs is the dumbest rule I ever heard.

I never knew that Michella & Jennifer's mom's were the one's who fought to have DNA collected from felons to go into a database. A tragic loss that atleast something positive came from it. Bless their familes & thank God for their mother's who fought so hard to have Michella & Jennifer's law passed! 🕊

So both of these men committed these violent crimes as a one time incident? That just seems unlikely, doesn’t it?

How on earth do you snatch a 12 year old innocent little girl who is riding her bike in a park, brutally rape AND kill her, train and become a NURSE, and then live your life as if nothing happened???? I am crying in disbelief. 😭! Gosh! Sorry, I simply do not know how to trust ANYONE!!!😢😢😢! This is terribly sad. Honestly, I hope the police in this case feel the hurt as well. That “24 hour” rule should hurt and now motivate EVERYONE to search and save our children, immediately.😢

I lived in Tacoma at this time, and my daughter was also 12. It was so very sad. The whole city was frightened for our kids.

Jennifer's mom made me cry. "If the last thing she looked at were those trees atleast she saw the beauty of nature." That is a comforting thought of your child's last moments. I hope that brings her parents some peace in such a tragic situation.

These kinds of rape and murder cases on children are the most gut-wrenching, heinous, and horrific. My heart breaks and aches every single time I learn of each story. Just learned today that a baby sitter viciously beat a 5-year-old boy to death in 26 minutes, it was an extremely torturous death. Makes my blood boil that she’s actually eligible for parole after 20 years. OMG, what kind of world is this?! 😢💔🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
