  Just to clarify, so others don&apos;t get freaked out, or confused:<br><br>When he says &quot;Backup your flash, or you&apos;ll brick&quot;, what he means is if you don&apos;t back up your flash, and you brick your console tinkering with it, then you&apos;re screwed. Having a backup allows you to restore your console to a known working state.

  When you back up the NAND, back it up twice and do a bit for bit comparison (CRC) to verify they match. Anyone who has dumped a xbox 360 NAND with LPT probably knows what I&apos;m talking about. Now back these NAND backups to 2 offline and 1 online location for safe keeping.

  Very fun video to watch. I am so grateful for my 2001A PS3 Slim with Evilnat 4.92.2. Sony did people dirty with those later slims. I only had to use a usb stick one time.

  Hi! &nbsp;Excellent video. &nbsp;I just followed this and applied the concepts along with the photos from the BadWDSD repo to put CFW on my PS3 Super Slim. &nbsp;Just as a personal preference, when soldering to CMD and CLK, instead of soldering directly to the capacitors, I prefer to follow the trace from those caps up to the vias, scratch them a bit to expose the copper and solder there instead. &nbsp;It works just the same but a bit less danger of knocking the capacitors off the board or damaging the pads in my opinion.

  Maybe not a big deal but running the wires through the shell could cause the hum of the disc drive and fan to eventually rub through the insulation to the conductor. Might be a good idea to wrap the edge with a grommet or wrap the wires with some cloth tape.

  thanks for the video. i cannot wait to see the modding scene explode again. the xbox360 can be done with a usb and a rgh3 chip or similar. .
