I mean this with absolutely no hate and all the admiration I can muster, but Jacob Alpharad is so good at cross marketing. In the first five minutes he promoted his channel, his friends channels, his twitch, and his new update to mariomon seemlessly and without seeming shilly. An absolute masterwork of an intro ❤

I remember back during this journey, my friend was talking to me about how she didn't like that the game being publicly released was locked behind twitch chat having to beat it first because she thought it'd take forever. I wasn't following chat's progress prior to this, but the next day I decided to check and they were finishing up the elite four and beating the champion lmao

Jacob removing all the roadblocks that would slow chat’s progress and getting surprised they were clearing the game fast is a certified stick in bike tire moment

I’m involved with fangame development and lemme tell you, the more projects you see the more impressive MarioMon’s high polish becomes. The spritework has been a helpful study for me too!

I love the fact that the blue Yoshi clone that clutched the game for chat was called "IHN" which is the German word for "HIM" (tbf Twitch Chat probably just mashed random buttons but all the more) and damn if that Yoshi is not HIM I don't know xD

A twitch plays playthrough, has to be the one of the greatest bug tests one can perform. A Twitch chat is possibly the greatest QA tester one could have!😂

This project was a wild ride for both Pokémon and Mario fans! It was so Super for Mario to be included in Pokémon battle styles.

this was genuinely such an incredible stream. going to sleep on night 1 and coming back the next day to being three worlds ahead with a level 100 blue yoshi (that we somehow SOMEHOW managed to clone later) was an unmatched feeling
