  You ever notice in these stories, when the guy lives and breath his Thai girlfriend/wife it never works out. But when the guy maintains control and manages his money...they stay together or he breaks up and walks away with all of his money.

  The clue was in her German 'ex', he ran out of funds. The second clue was her children. The third clue was in the 'village' wedding. On top of that he was underfunded, with insufficient money to rescue anything (but perhaps lucky as he might have lost a great deal more).

  Its funny how these guys notice the change in her behavior as their money goes down. They certainly know at that point that their relationship is based on him paying up money. He thinks that she did not get much but a house and a restaurant is a good haul. This fool even volunteered to send monthly payments after he went back home to make more money!

  Crying is not a sign of stupidity. It shows you’re in touch with your emotions, which you clearly aren’t. You don’t say how old you are but £10k won’t butter any parsnips, in the UK or Thailand

  I don&apos;t think you got scammed actually, 43.000 GBP is simply not enough to set up a new life and business in another country.
