And that is the reason, when JD Vance called us Chinese "peasants", we don't feel anything, don't get hurt even a little bit. Because our education from the very beginning, taught us, this country's foundation is workers and farmers, every single one of us are son and daughter of farmers, because the farmers feed us all, we should be appreciate for every single pcs of rice planted by farmers. I'm glad the gov. kept their promise, didn't leave the poorest farmers behind. Maybe still not enough, but I'm glad things are still going forward.

it's funny how some westerners post pictures of slow trains with farmers and their livestocks thinking this would make us look bad, while every Chinese are proud of this, a symbolic representation of state-own not-for-profit national infrastructure.

Your old and slow train still looks better than my hometown's express train. 😂

In China, no matter how tough the developmental challenges, local governments everywhere fiercely guard an absolute rule: 'Never let the children suffer, no matter the hardship; never let education fall behind, no matter the poverty.' Seeing this reality with my own eyes was incredibly moving. It truly commands your deepest respect. ❤🇨🇳

The Chengdu-Kunming Railway is a great engineering marvel, embodying the highest ideals of collectivism and sacrifice. Many heroic railway soldiers and workers lay at rest forever along this line. My parents, who took part in its construction, have been gone for many years now. I believe that if their spirits in heaven could see that the railway built with their youth and blood is still serving the people, and that China has built the world’s largest and most modern high-speed rail network, they would be deeply comforted and proud.
