  My family are commercial fishermen, my husband worked on the docks as a &quot;lumper.&quot; &nbsp;Human body parts were not that unexpected in the nets. <br>I&apos;ve been told putting a body in a roll of chain link fencing and dropping them in deep ocean would keep all the parts together and the weight of the chain link would keep it down for the hagfish to eat up. Zoinks!

  I once brought up a rock, the hook caught the moss growing on it.

I&apos;ll ask her about it tonight and give an update. No joke we grew up in Nebraska and she went in to the navy and when she was stationed in Florida she called home in a panic and had to tell my dad that she was fishing off a pier and caught a ray. That whole small Nebraska town knew about my sister&apos;s epic catch by sundown that day😂

  Was fishing off my uncle&apos;s dock in the cove where people stored their boats on Irondequoit bay while staying at my aunt and uncle&apos;s for a week. Caught a ~6&quot; pike with my hook going in behind the top of its eye and coming out of the center of its forehead. I kinda panicked and ran back to my uncle&apos;s for help and he pulled the hook out for me. I returned it to the cove, thinking surely it wouldn&apos;t survive but could feed the other fish once it passed. Not 10 minutes after putting it back in the water did I reel in the same damn fish with a dried circle of blood on its forehead. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I was like, &quot;damn, you really hate living, huh?&quot; 😂 I returned it a second time and soon stopped fishing for the day so I didn&apos;t catch it a 3rd time.

  My weirdest catch was two baby fish at once on a two hook line. Close second is an Oyster Toadfish. My uncle had to cut my line, as those can bite through oyster shells. As for my uncle, he caught a Black Tipped Reef Shark while fishing in Ocean City.

  I once caught an Eel, I cut it&apos;s head off went home and put it into a sink of cold water and it started to wriggle

  That second story really pisses me off. If you can&apos;t take the whole fish, release it, or take what you can, don&apos;t just skin the animal. I know some people might think I am being dramatic but think of it this way, if one day abunch of aliens came and took us from our planet as prey, would YOU want them to just skin the flesh off your ribs and put you back on the planet, alive?
