  One aspect of Fantasy Music I always wanted to try is Dungeon Music. Thinking of the Ayleid Ruins of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I clearly remember the intimidating atmosphere wandering through those dungeons, even in the late game as a skilled character. But it wasn’t only the zombies, the faint lights and deadly traps, but also the music that created this immersive atmosphere. An impression that lasts till today.<br><br>I decided to take a similar approach as I did in Natura on the underworld journey, going for different chapters. I chose a dungeon, a cave system and an underground tomb complex. Each got a short, drafted background story, a main potential threat (bandits, monster spiders and undead creatures) and based on all that, its very own distinctive character in music. I wanted to create some connections to my game memories, but also add my own interpretation of how it should sound.<br><br>To make the experience as immersive as possible, I didn’t want to stick to an animated still image, so I chose to dive into the world of the Unreal Engine 4 creating a level scene with some asset packs - the world of Obscura came to life.<br><br>I hope you enjoy the journey!   I wanted to put this on as background music but ended up so engrossed in the incredible animation that I sat and watched the whole thing! amazing work on this, i hope this gets the attention it deserves for all the effort you put in and how gorgeous the level is. would love to actually play through something like this!

  This is EXACTLY the type of music I&apos;ve been looking for to build a sense of suspense/dread in my players when DM&apos;ing tabletop RPG&apos;s. Excellent work, hits all the right notes, will definitely be using this in future games.

  I would 100% play a game that is nothing but creepy dungeon/castle exploration with minimal monsters, scares, or fighting. Just exploring, marveling, beautiful graphics, immersive sound effects, and imagination! This is wonderful.

  Ich bin studierter Musikwissenschaftler, Dr.phil, selbst Komponist und mit entsprechend hohen Ansprüchen dank klassischer Ausbildung. Aber was hier geboten wird, finde ich einzigartig: Eine Dante&apos;sche Höllenfahrt in die tiefsten Tiefen der Dungeons, voll düsterem Zauber und glühender Klangfantasie. Ich kann einfach nicht anders, als für dieses Meisterwerk alle paar Monate eine satte portion Liebe hierzulassen, da es mich nun schon so lange begleitet und ungebrochen fasziniert. Askii, ich komme grad mal wieder vorbei, lasse mich auf deine Geistreise mitnehmen und nutzte die Gelegenheit, um - wie immer - den Hut vor dir zu ziehen. Nichts Neues also, und nichts, was nach einer Antwort verlangt. Aber vielleicht freut es dich ja auch noch beim circa hundertsten Mal.

  I just have to say, this feeling of immersion is phenomenal. This music is so...tense. I&apos;ve watched this completely about 5 times, and yet I feel like if I was actually there I would still get lost. Plus, the music adds this sense of paranoia. From the video, nothing comes out to get you, but you FEEL like it will. Every turn of a corner, you&apos;re just waiting to get jumped. I LOVE IT!

  First time I happened upon this video, I literally just watched the animation. &nbsp;Now, a few years after finding it, I finally thought to ask if there was any lore or backstory, and I was delighted to find something written in the description. &nbsp;Neat world building.💜
