Was Tim high during this episode? Him saying Soul Reaver was never associated with PS1 is just plain insanity man. I’ve never heard him be more incorrect

Regarding Soul Reaver: it initially launched exclusively on the Playstation. The Dreamcast version wasn't too far behind (5 months), but regardless of which version was better, I think way more people played the original Playstation release. As somebody who had both consoles back in the day, and played Soul Reaver at launch, I definitely think of it more as a Playstation game.

Tim wasn't a Playstation kid as he said, so why is he arguing Soul Reaver wasn't a PS1 associated game? Because it 100% was as a kid growing up with Playstation.

Kinda Funny's persistent agenda against Tomb Raider is odd.

Excellent game for the time (which is also the same barometer used for other games on this list??). A pioneering game both for adventure games and for Female protagonists.

It deserves every bit of being 6th.

I echo Tim's point about the look of old Gran Turismo. We didn't need better looking cars than the ones we got in PS1 era games, they're still gorgeous.

The Tomb Raider slander I will not accept. That first game was groundbreaking for having a female protagonist becoming iconic for once. But it is also fun to play. Exploring the environment was great, and yes, the movement might be awkward, but it also turns the game into a literal puzzle, where you have to figure out where and how to jump to survive. It's a great game for its time.
Driver too btw. That was a 3D open world game, way before GTA3. Sure, you could not get out of the car, but it was still very impressive.

The PS1 Medal of Honor didn't have an Omaha Beach mission though, Tim lol. Also, Infinity Ward was created by ex-Medal of Honor devs.
