  Those rifle rounds are why my training told me to take cover behind the engine block in a scenario sick as this because even those rifle rounds could not penetrate a solid engine block.

  I grew up in LA and took 3 buses to get home from school. One day every transfer I made, every time I &nbsp;cut across a parking lot to walk to a different bus stop , I&apos;d see police cars speeding up to a bank. I did hear on the news that there had been 5 bank robberies. Oddly, I think I saw 4 of them

  There was a tv movie that came out in 2003 called 44 Minutes: The North Hollywood Shootout starring Mario Van Peebles that tells the story from the police officers&apos; point of view of this incident<br>The nerve medicine, it seems, was to calm their nerves, not to suppress or incapacitate them
