No. Cuz that's amazing that it was $3 in 2006. I did not buy that record in 2006. Oh, that's so funny cuz this is, like, worth more than that now! What's up everybody? Kyle with Art's Records & Tapes here. In today's video, we're going hunting for records at garage sales. It's one of my favorite things to do. And my guess is you're watching this video because it's one of your favorite things to do. I've put together a compilation of three garage sales I hit up earlier this summer where I found some awesome records. The first one is a spot I've been to a few times. I've actually gotten to know the folks pretty well and made a video last year about buying all of the records they had for sale. I didn't do that this time, but I did find some good stuff. But before we go, if you like this kind of content, please give me a like, hit that subscribe button; that really helps me out. This channel is all about music discovery and the joy of the hunt. I love vinyl. I love music, crate digging, and if you do too, you'll want to stick around. So, let's get into the first sale! This next sale was advertised as a 'record sale' and they had a lot! I had a a lot of fun digging - found some really good stuff. They did have Steve Miller blaring in the garage where all of the records were, so I took the audio out and put some music over top. And what you've been listening to and what you will be listening to throughout this video is a band called Collections of Colonies of Bees. This is one of their more recent records called 'Hawaii.' They've been around for 20-plus years, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They play glitchy instrumental post-rock. This record, I believe, is their first to feature a vocalist. Really great! And what you'll be listening to throughout this dig is some of their earlier stuff, which was just acoustic guitar, banjo, percussion, and some electronics. I think it adds a nice ambiance to the dig. This last sale didn't have much by way of records. I found some stuff in decent condition. Most of it was torched. Stick around to the end to see a flip video of everything I ended up with at all three sales. And if you made it this far, thanks so much for watching, and I'll see you on the next dig!"
