I tried this at the range. Balls went completely straight, is what I noticed most.

The legend Bernhard Langer is a role model to all senior golfers. Too easily we hand out superlatives for athletes in all sports. This man is a goat. His record in seniors' golf will never be beaten.

Love it. Sometimes it's easy to forget that he is explaining this perfectly and clearly in English, which is not his native language.

The very last point he made is gold. Only 2 years ago I stopped moving my hands/arms once my shoulder stopped, within months I went from 18 to 14.5 handicap.

His comments about incomplete shoulder turn and lift has been my problem for years, even as a single digit player. Very frustrating.

I was guilty of the fake turn for ages. Always coming over the top and not knowing why. Spent the winter on a Trackman trying real hard to move my club path from out-to-in to in-to-out and nothing stuck until I made a fuller shoulder turn. It felt extremely awkward, but it was the only thing that moved the numbers so stuck with it. Now it feels normal. The swing has improved massively and I am playing a slight draw.
