Hey Steve and Tanya I'm in North Carolina I'm 73 and old. An old horse whisperer worked with wild horses back in my day untouched.. don't let those people bother you . I've been watching you for years you do a great job. You've been close to my home I'm just north of Myrtle Beach. I lost my horse heart of 33 years  a year ago.. I miss her dearly still.  watching you and a handful of others working with horses help me. That horse is quite large to not have been handled that much and you have to be careful and know what you're doing. The people that say those things they could not do what you're doing. Y'all take care!!  I'll finish watching it now.  I just didn't like hearing that people were being negative. And you're right there's a lot of negative people out there. Positivity is the only way to go kindness and love. You know what you're doing Steve.

What do I never, ever see when Steve has worked with a horse in these videos? Fear. They are visibly happier, because they know what to do with themselves, thanks to you, Steve. Thank you and ignore the haters.

I can say it you can’t Steve,  Sod them!  I’ve learnt so much from your videos, I’m 73, last Road over 40 years ago, your videos have given my the confidence to ‘read’ a horse and have a better relationship with them.  Last week I met a 29 year old Bay Gelding, a real heart horse for my friend, he is friendly but sometimes he nips or bites.  Well he came towards me from his stable and put his ears back and lunge forward, I didn’t move, I had gloves with me and shook them, he backed off, I didn’t, he did it again a couple of times, same thing from me, when he came again, his ears were up, and I gently touched his nuzzle and told him he was a good boy.  I went in the stable with him, I looked at his feet and he backed off then approached me quietly.  I was so chuffed, this is ALL down to you Steve, THANK YOU and bless you and Tanya 🥰

I have never seen you do anything abusive EVER! You stay firm, hold your ground to show they can't run over you and get respect. Horses are big and can kill you without even meaning to because of fight flight. Your horsmanship  gives them security and confidence because the decide on their own to trust and respect you as their leader. I don't think people know what abuse is. Love you and love all you do for horses and owners. Love to your whole family, you are wonderful, loving and a funny bunch. Carry on ha ha.Betsy

When you don't know the full story, you can step in the muck by making comments. My dad said, "You're not living their experience. You can't pass judgement." There are people that own horses and there are people that understand the brain of a horse. Two different things. You are the jumpstart to a better life! Bravo to you and Tanya.

I'm too old to ride now.  I had horses throughout my  younger life.  What I would have given to have been taught your methods.  I've seen so many horses just RELAX and find peace after being taught by you.  They LOVE you for it !

I love the sound of anyone nickering to a horse.  You have an excellent nicker Steve.

Negative Nellies are internet trolls. Just block them. You are a master. I started riding at 5yrs old, almost 70yrs ago. My mother was a trainer and was trained by a Native American over 100yrs ago. You are a master. Understanding horse nature is key to a well-balanced willing horse, rather than simply trained to what you want. Wonderful work you do.
