This really feels like OG MCM. A lot of automotive youtubers these days have gone from silly mods like this to building supercars, and while it's cool, it's not true to their roots. Good on ya boys for sticking to what made MCM so great.

Fun fact, the 1mz engine in those cars had a factory supercharger option. So if you leave stock injectors in it, the factory ECU has a map with provisions for low amounts of boost, I think its like 4-6psi it can handle. There was also a factory fuel pump ECU module that would sometimes be included with the supercharger to add additional fuel.

You're spinning the turbo up with half the engine, but that's feeding the inlet manifold that's feeding the whole engine... so you've turbocharged the full engine..
