I think we’re all here, because we lived through the 70’s and 80’s, and are looking for ANYTHING to take us back there for even just 5min to remember what the country was like back then. Happy, hopefully, funny (we were ALWAYS laughing), and patriotic. And, we all had this on VHS. Big salute to everyone else who feels that way. Especially, after this past week.

Jackie was a true friend to me. I met him in the early 1980's in Hawaii. We both used to sit around and talk having some drinks. Played golf with him a few times. He was great. Wish I could have known him longer. He told me many stories about his life and I told him a few of my much younger (at that time) life. He was truly something else. He lived as pretty much portrayed on TV and in movies. He loved to drink his liqueur and chain smoke. He was also a damn good pool player as well. I sure miss talking with him. RIP "Great One"!
