  Yes, you should have left. He is someone who just doesn’t care. But I imagine he is his own worst enemy who speaks to people like that. Thank you for rising above it.

  You know, it wasn’t about you. I’d bank that he’s a rude driver, abusive in the shops, and hateful to folks on the street. I would have left. Even if you were charging, that doesn’t give anyone the right to ruin your day. You’re lucky if you never see him again.  You’re awesome!

  You should never award abusive behaviour by giving them anything. You have the right and the responsibility to yourself to walk far away from people like that. You are a person deserving of respect. He is inhuman enough not to treat people as he would want to be treated. You have better things to do. I’m so sorry you were treated this way
