I’m black and say Bill Burr is not a racist. I think he’s kind of like George Carlin when it comes to race. There’s a difference between a joke about race and a racist joke. He makes jokes about our differences but not in an insulting way. He’s simply funny.

Burr is no racist. Through his humor and approach to racially charged issues, he reveals that we have cultural differences that can be celebrated.

He's absolutely not racist. He is married to a Black woman and has many Black friends. He is just comfortable with joking about racism because he knows what he's talking about, and it's hilarious. He's not ignorantly tossing insults.

Bill is a comedian, not a racist. He is married to a black woman. His wife is Nia Renee Hill, an actress, writer, and producer. They married in 2013 and have two children together: a daughter, Lola, born in 2017, and a son born in 2020. Hill frequently appears on Burr's podcast, and the couple is known for their witty, humorous exchanges.
