  I discovered something shocking - shocking I tell you! - about the whiskey drinkers in my life. They would much rather have a small bottle of a really nice single malt, or a fine bourbon, or even a small bottle of an unusual whiskey they haven&apos;t tried before, than any bar gadget I could buy. Weird, but true.

  I got my wife a rabbit muddler it&apos;s made of high quality silicon, it has a vibrating motor to help mixing. She keeps it in her nightstand drawer and she really loves it! Never seen her make drinks with it though.

  If you&apos;ve got an intended gift recipient who&apos;s into mixology, either get them a bottle of their favourite spirit, which will always be a hit, or the most obscure weird yet well-rated bottle you can find so they can have fun experimenting with it. They will enjoy it so much more than any gadget taking up valuable bar space and gathering dust.
