The sad thing is that if he is proven to be innocent, that is 41 years without a proper relationship with his son. If his son is married and/or has kids, that is even more relationships he has not had.

Where are all those people who are always upset that a person in death row gets years of appeal? Why don't we ever see those people in the comment section for stories like this? Because your thirst for blood as quickly as possible would have seen an innocent man murdered and who knows how many innocent people in the past on death row were executed. .......I rather have a long appeal process and 1000 guilty men spend decades appealing before execution if it means 1 innocent man gets to live and spend decades appealing to correct the wrongs of the justice system.<br><br>The blood thirsty among us would not care if quick executions means an innocent person gets executed.

The stipulations are a DISGRACE if he is innocent.They clearly think he did it and want time to build their case for a retrial.If totally exonerated,he can take the DA and police for 10s of millions.

This is why the death penalty needs to be abolished. The justice system will never be just, or 100% accurate. This man should be fully exonerated using genetic genealogy.
