  No joke, Tomb Raider gave me a sense of mystery, dread, danger and thrill when I was a kid that nothing else gave me, and it still gives me to this day, thanks to the tombs feeling like truly nobody had stepped into them for thousands of years, and absolutely amazing music that exhalted the gameplay and level design.

  thanks to the black sky, I used to think that TR1 had no open areas and that valley with T Rex was located in a giant cave

  I can not describe how much this video means to me, and any other Tomb Raider fan struggling with the loss of the series, and the loss of the Lara Croft we grew up with. The editing, and all the work you put into this love letter to an often overlooked Classic is amazing.

  Tomb Raider 2 terrifies me more because <br>A) 40 Fathoms was what birthed my Thalasaphobia<br>B) Temple of Xion’s spider cave (my dad played this game when i was 7/8 and i remember being jump scared and running upstairs in terror!)<br><br>Nuff said

  I&apos;ve talked about it a lot before with friends, but Tomb Raider&apos;s subtle horror is incredible. &nbsp;The focus on ambiance, unique musical crescendos when a certain point is hit or a discovery is made, traps and nefarious creatures that could be around any corner alongside the sheer desolate landscape. &nbsp; Being left with only the sound of your steps echoing as you traverse monstrous levels really tops the whole thing off. &nbsp;You have no idea what you&apos;ll encounter, and you have to keep pushing ahead despite the constant looming threat of death.<br><br>I&apos;ve always thought about doing something, but I&apos;m so glad I never did because there&apos;s no way I could of conveyed it in the manner that you did. &nbsp;The transitions especially? Dear gosh, they&apos;re unreal. &nbsp;You feel the amount of time and effort put into this project, and I thank you so very much for that.

  I&apos;ve been looking for this video for YEARS. I watched it when it was new and for some reason Youtube hid it from me after that. I remember thinking it was the best Tomb Raider analysis I&apos;ve ever seen so I&apos;m stoked to re-watch it<br><br>Edit- This video is everything I remember and then some. This is THE definitive classic Tomb Raider video. It is an instant classic that&apos;s going in my favorites
