  John's sister, Caroline did not have the much press attention at all.  If she entered a restaurant in NYC, people mostly would not have even recognized her.  What really put John Jr. on the map was the People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, photos of him in the magazines and his dating hot famous celebrities.

  The 90’s were an amazing time to be alive. Looking back, it was a great time to be in my 20’s with my entire life ahead of me. I remember JFKJ on all the newsstand covers and then Carolyn. They were an “ideal”. His death was a surprise to me, but not really a shock. RIP Lauren, whose name isn’t mentioned often enough. I wish Carolyn had listened to her gut. Their death was truly the end of an era. May they rest in peace.

  We New Yorkers would have given John &. Carolyn a glance & moved on. Famous people were basically left alone. It was also a very different time then. It’s so interesting what interests this younger generation!

  I bumped into Carolyn at Magnolia Bakery on Bleeker st, I thought I knew her , as momentarily I did not recognize her . So, I said &quot;Hi am sorry I think we met, but forgot your name, sorry !&quot; She laughed and said &quot;we have not met &quot; . I then realized who she was &nbsp;and laughed saying how stupid I felt . She laughed and said it was all good.<br><br>The day Jackie O died I was at the cafe &nbsp;called E.A.T on Madison where the entire family was having breakfast the morning of her death, John and his Sister Caroline and others ( not Carolyn ) were talking. I had not seen the press so no idea Jackie has died that morning.

  It was Calvin Klein’s style. &nbsp;Not hers. &nbsp;She didn’t design the clothes. &nbsp;She was given those pieces which she mixed with her own. &nbsp;There wasn’t a magical wardrobe. I was in my 30s in the 90s. &nbsp;I dressed minimally because it was there in my closet or my mom’s closet. &nbsp;From a young age I always bought classic pieces. &nbsp;I just don’t get the whole “CBK” style. &nbsp;It was Calvin Klein’s style: &nbsp;people need to give him the credit

  Carolyn wore black because she had it in her wardrobe from Calvin Klein. At CK employees could wear black, white, and khaki. Plus everyone wore black In Manhattan in the 1990’s.
