Emma Russell was right. Reading the film's end credits montage, it is possible to see from the reports that the Titans led by Godzilla are really saving the world without threatening humanity. Emma's mistake was to awaken Ghidorah, who was an alien who unbalanced the natural order, something that no one could have foreseen or imagined.

So, in the Novelization, Kong was busy beating up the Skullcrawlers trying to answer Ghidorah's Alpha Call

Mothra is immortal, shes a phoenix. Notice how she's a larvae in the beginning of the movie, but the ancient painting show her in full moth form. She's been through this before

Ok the monsters in this movie are well known characters from the toho movies

Mothra (first appearance 1961 crossed over in 1964 in Mothra vs Godzilla)

Rodan (first appeared in 1956 then appeared in ghidorah the three headed monster 1964)

King ghidorah (1964 ghidorah the three headed monster and godzilla arch enemy ever since)

Seeing them get the big budget modern day treatment and hearing the classic godzilla and Mothra them is a dream come true for us kaiju fans

Also the reason why kong didn't show up is because he ignored ghidorah call and was dealing with a bunch of skullcrawlers who did respond to ghidorah. Also the oxygen destroyer is the weapon that killed godzilla back in 1954 in the original gojira movie. Which y'all should watch. Also the name monsters

Behemoth the mammoth monster

Methuselah the mountain monster

Muto queen aka barb

Skylla the crubstation

6:55 yeah that's mothra character she's a gentle monster who doesn't intend to harm people unlike godzilla. She's one of the few monsters that is kind also can communicate with twin girls psychically.

17:23 this is ghidorah attack the gravity beam. It's just as strong as godzilla's atomic breath also each head has it's own name and personality

Ichi: the middle head is the leader and keeps the other's focus

Ni: the right head is more aggressive

San aka Kevin: is the younger brother and is the most curious about his surroundings and tends to lost track of things.

23:48 rodan is more of a pterodactyl then dragon.

24:32 yeah BTW rodan can fly at super sonic speed and him flapping his wings alone can demolish a city

25:09 that's a reference to the giant claw.

29:02 it's fine here cause godzilla still feels a part of the plot even when he's not on screen. Unlike 2014 where he felt sidelined. Besides this movie gives ghidorah rodan and Mothra time to shine so when godzilla does show up it's earned

32:42 this isn't really the first time in a kaiju movie we seen a ancient civilization

Atrogon: the mu empire

Mothra 1961: the temple on infant island

Godzilla vs megalon: seatopia

Rebirth of mothra 2: Nirai Kanai

33:09 this is also a role reversal for Dr serizawa. In the 1954 gojira movie he killed godzilla and himself with the oxygen destroyer, in this movie he's saving godzilla from the oxygen destroyer

39:59 mothra tends to die in some of the movies she appears in. But as long as she laid a egg she'll never die

41:00 meet burning godzilla. First appearance 1995 godzilla vs Destroyah (watch that movie)

41:14 that's the nuclear pulse and yes you can see mothra's wings in the pulse. This powerup is part of godzilla and Mothra symbiotic relationship and is the best way for godzilla to vent all that extra radiation he got from the nuclear bomb and his temple

43:01 you'll find out what happened to Kevin and what's johnah is up to in
Godzilla vs kong
The Kong survival instinct game

43:17 the comic godzilla dominion shows you what's happening heck the end credits told you. The monsters fixed everything, and went back to sleep. Those who are still running around not listening to godzilla will get beat up until they either submit or die

43:26 next movie is godzilla vs kong

44:55 that happens in some of the original movies. It's tradition. Godzilla will sometimes need help to fight a bigger threat. Ghidorah is that threat.

Ah, you guys finally met Mothra. My favourite Kaiju. Also, if you paid attention to the end credits scene, it states that they found an egg and is believed to be an egg belonging to Mothra. Another fun fact, even if Mothra dies, the egg she gave birth to will hatch into a new larva, but with the consciousness and memories of its mother. Technically, it becomes its mother or the original Mothra. In other words, she's immortal.

I love when he hits Godzilla with the gravity beams and he just tanks it.
