How many MVPs does Shohei Ohtani win when all is said and done? (He's at 4 now)

Dear baseball gods: please, please, please keep Shohei healthy & happy for the next 8-10 years 🙏….600 HR’s is a strong possibility.

Ohtani is the fifth fastest player to hit 300 HRs, and is the first player to have over 300 homeruns and 100 stolen bases in his first nine seasons (Ohtani and Alex Rodriguez is the only player ever to have over 40 HRs and 20 SBs four seasons) And Shohei is doing it while pitching to a career

The most impressive about Ohtani is that he is that good at two totaly different skills. It is easier imo to be top rugby and football, or even football and hatdball player than to be good it pitching and hittimg. That is unbelievable

None of the others above him, were pitching simultaneously while reaching the 300HR milestone

I heard a report that his father talked to him about not being able to pitch for ever so he must prepare for that. Thats why he said he will try to go all out this season pitching. Having said that he can definately play 1st, 3rd.or outfield. Thus he will be able to focus on his hitting, so yes 600 HRs is a real possiblity.

 Thanks for the show Ben!
Yes Shohei said in the past in Japan that it’s hard to pick but if I have to pick I’d consider myself as a pitcher.
I just hope he stays healthy and can keep doing whatever he wants to do!
It’s just unbelievably amazing what he does and that we get to witness it!

Ohtani is such a competitor he’d play til 50 to get that 8th MVP if he had to, this man wants to leave 0 doubt! Nice hit on that BVG!!

The MVP total could end up insane simply because of the reasons you mention. Even if some other two way player comes along and gets developed and selected, what are the chances they will be as good as Shohei in either let alone both. And without injury MVP's for Shohei should be a matter of course for years to come.
