It's sad to think of how many gamers there are that can never truly understand what it meant that when you bought a game you were virtually guaranteed a full game experience created by devs who put their heart and soul into the game, and the game was never made worse in order to sell microtransactions.

Man, I miss the early 2000s so much. These were unique, extraordinary times and definitely the pinnacle of gaming.

Max Payne was a magic. I think Hitman also deserves to be in the list.

Max Payne 2 is masterpiece. This game have soul, perfect audio with gr8 voice acting, dark noir atmosphere, satisfying gameplay like interactive action movie, everything is on point. I recommend everyone to play this game even in 2024, trust me u won't regret it, i finished this game 8th time few months ago and this game aged like a fine wine :)

Born in ‘71 and got ‘Pong’ for Christmas in ‘77. It was amazing to have a front row seat to the evolution of video games. I even got to Beta test Halo when I worked for Microsoft. Other highlights was getting Intellivoice for my Intellivision, Sega 16 bit graphics in ‘95, Doom 2, and browsing big box PC games at EB Games. But my favorite moment was walking into a Best Buy and seeing COD2 on display. LCD TVs just came out, and seeing those graphics blew me away.

"The game's greatest strength lies in its ability to make you feel like part of something bigger than yourself' that's so true of COD 2003, really was and is still an immersive historical war game, I got a lot of time for it.

Missing Hitman mention. The disguise and the NPC intelligence in Silent Assassin and the music by Jesper Kyd..worth a mention
