Old man Walt is flipping in his grave. This self checkout is getting old. If im doing their job,I should get that 20% employee discount not paying a membership fee

If my Sam's Club has no check out .I will no longer shop there..."There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else". -Sam Walton -

So they raised membership, got rid of all the registers and the people running those.   You scan yourself and you have to use your phone with an app.  Sounds a little scammy.

If I have to use scan &go,  I'm  gone......................................  Tired of being forced to let all these retailers push us around,  no interest in keeping actual shoppers in their stores happy,  SAD DAY

For warehouse clubs, convenience is only part of the value. Checkout options, membership fees, product selection, and customer service all matter when people decide whether to renew.

I stopped dealing with Walmart when they decided to take my blood pressure, heart rate, bank account, background check, and in some stores, even your fingerprint as well as facial recognition. Additionally, their adaptive prices after all this information is compiled they charge everyone in different price for the same items in their store, depending on who’s looking at it and how much do they think you can pay. So I’m done with Walmart and Sam’s not ever going back.
