Sayap Mas memang berani penuh tekad. Kini untuk persaingan pun mereka berani menggelontorkan dana tak sedikit untuk promosi. Ada kabar burung bahwa pihak Unilever pun memesan bahan sabun dari Wings lalu diolah sendiri. Sayap Mas berani berhadapan dengan Indofood dalam persaingan mie instan, ini juga luar biasa. Di luar Wings ada juga Multi Sari Sedap yang memproduksi kecap Nasional, ini juga perusahaan luar biasa. Dulu hanya menghasilkan kecap murah untuk pedagang gerobak keliling, lalu saos dan kecap yang lebih elite Nasional untuk menghadapi Bango Unilever. Jika kecap Mangkok untuk pedagang K5 kelas bawah, kecap Nasional untuk pedagang makanan kelas menengah. Hanya dengan menguasai pasar Jabodetabek saja rasanya omset kecap Nasional sudah tidak bisa disaingi merk kecap manapun.
